Three hours of filming to produce approx 5 mins of a new silent sketch show, staring Ben Miller, took place at Stanleys Garage on Sunday evening.
“It was a great experience to watch the effort that goes into perfecting each shot. Ben Miller was a real gentleman and kept a great humor and positive drive no matter how many times a re-take was called for, stopping to pose with the locals between shots, he even took the time to visit my Mum who wasn’t well enough to stand and watch.” said Liz.
It had been hoped that all the scenes would be filmed in Marden, but in the last week new locations at Linton were found for 2 of the scenes. Although, it is still hoped that should this “Taster” be successful and a series made, Marden will once again be their preferred village.
