Statement from Marden Parish Council
Given the recent wet weather over the Christmas period, we ask that any residents whose houses have been affected by the recent flooding to get in touch so that we can report back to Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) and KCC.
MBC are offering a free waste removal service for items that have been water damaged. MBC are unable to enter premises and advise all residents to gain confirmation from their insurance companies/loss adjusters that they are allowed to dispose of these items.
If you have any items of furniture, carpets, etc that been water damaged by the flooding, please email us by Wednesday 8th January on clerk@mardenkent-pc.gov.uk or deputyclerk@mardenkent-pc.gov.uk so that we can let Maidstone Borough Council know on Thursday 9th January to arrange a collection point.
