Following the consultation on the Yalding vehicle restriction, the scheme was approved on 22nd January 2014 at a meeting of the Local Maidstone Joint Transportation Board. As well as approving the scheme in it's current state, they also approved two further traffic regulation orders to include additional roads in the scheme.
